HUS childbirth helpline, telephone service restored

The childbirth helpline telephone service at the Helsinki-Uusimaa Hospital District (HUS) have been restored after fixing the technical glitches that took place last week, said HUS on Monday.

The childbirth helpline and telephone service for Emergency Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics had been disrupted due to technical glitch since September 19.

The authority informed about the difficulties to calls to some numbers of Maternity helpline, Women's Clinic emergency service, Espoo Hospital maternity emergency service, Hyvinkää Hospital obstetrics and gynecology emergency service.

The callback function was not working due to the technical glitch but now the problems have been fixed.

“The technical problems in the HUS childbirth helpline telephone service have been resolved,” Niina Kauppinen, Communications Manager of HUS told Daily Finland on Monday morning.
