Inflation hits 1.5% in Finland in February

In January, the year-on-year change in the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) stood at 1.7 per cent.

According to the preliminary data on consumer prices, the month-on-month change was 0.5 per cent in February.

The biggest year-on-year change, 7.3 per cent was in the division 06 Health.

The Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices does not include owner-occupancy, games of chance, interests on consumption and other credits, fire insurance on owner-occupied dwellings, the vehicle tax or fishing and hunting fees.
