Laboratory, customer services of HUS face heavy congestion after disruption

The laboratorial operation, imaging telephone and customer services at the Helsinki-Uusimaa Hospital District (HUS) remained suspended for a temporary period on Monday morning due a glitch, said HUS in a press release.
The authority reported about the disruption at about 8:20 a.m. but the services were restored at about 9:00 a.m.
The customer services failed not answer to the telephone calls during the disruption.
The authority, however, did not disclose the reason behind the glitch.
Although the services were restored within a span of less than one hour, customers faced heavy congestion and had to wait for longer period to get services over phone following the disruptions.
