Producer prices for manufactured products rose by an average of 6.7 per cent from June 2025 to June 2026, according to Statistics Finland.
The prices of products sold on the domestic market rose by 7.3 per cent, while the prices of export products went up by 6.0 per cent.
The rise in the prices was particularly caused by higher prices of refined petroleum products, basic metals and electricity compared with last year's June.
The increase in prices was curbed especially by the decrease in prices of paper and paper products, and other chemical products.
The export price index went up by 6.1 per cent in a year. The rise in export prices was especially due to higher prices of basic metals and refined petroleum products compared with last year’s June.

The import price index went up by 6.5 per cent in a year. The increase in import prices was, in turn, especially caused by higher prices of crude petroleum, and chemicals and chemical products.

The basic price index for domestic supply rose by 4.6 per cent and the basic price index for domestic supply including taxes went up by 3.7 per cent.
