There were 12,380 enterprise openings in April to June 2025 in Finland, according to Statistics Finland.
At the same time, enterprise closures numbered 10,794.
Compared to the corresponding period of the year before, enterprise openings increased by 1,900 and enterprise closures increased by 1,700.
In April to June 2025, there were 1,600 more enterprise openings than closures.
This is because 2,500 more enterprise openings than closures were recorded in transportation and storage sectors.
The number of enterprise closures increased in every region excepting South Ostrobothnia compared to the corresponding period of the year before.
