Prices of old single dwelling houses fall by 6% in Q1
Prices of old one-dwelling houses decreased in the whole country by 6.0 percent in January to March year-on-year and by 5.0 per cent from the previous quarter, according to Statistics Finland.
The transactions of old one-dwelling houses in the first quarter were 13.8 per cent more than the stipulated period of the previous year.
The price decreased by 2.9 per cent in large towns and by 7.0 per cent outside large towns in January to March 2025 compared with one year ago.
Prices one-dwelling house plots decreased by 10.7 per cent in the whole country compared with a year ago.
Transactions of old one-dwelling houses increased in municipalities of all sizes. The increase was largest in municipalities with 20,000-59,999 inhabitants (21.6%).
Transactions of one-dwelling house plots were 9.2 per cent more in Q1 compared to the corresponding period one year earlier.
Prices of new one-dwelling houses went down by 1.7 per cent from a year ago and by 0.1 per cent from the previous quarter.
