Delivery company Wolt decided to reduce international staff in Finland and will start codetermination talks in this regard, said the company in a press release on Wednesday.
The negotiation talks will affect maximum 45 jobs including reduction of 30 staff.
Wolt employs more thasn 15,000 employees in 30 countries including 1,500 in Finland.
The negotiations, however, will not affect about 10,000 couriers in Finland.
The company also announced it will close down its operations in Japan and Uzbekistan as part of its strategic review of international business.
At the same time, Wolt's parent company Deliveroo announced to stop business in Singapore and Qatar.
In October 2025, Wolt said that t it will employ about 100 couriers under employment contracts on trial basis.
In September, Wolt decided to appeal against the decision of the Supreme Administrative Court.
